In this edition of our "Trendy Artists" column, we got news about artists from all over the world for you: from a Spanish rock star touring South America, through French rappers, to the biggest A-listers in the US doing a festive Elvis Presley tribute.

Enrique Bunbury Keeps Raising the Roof on His South American Tour

Spanish rock star Enrique Bunbury has been a major player in the Spanish music scene for decades now, both as a member of a band in his early career, and now as a solo artist as well. His influence has spread all across the Hispanic word - right now, he’s traveling all across the South American continent. He's been giving shows this month to large, enthusiastic crowds in cities like Buenos Aires, Argentina (in front of 14,000 people), and Quito, Ecuador.

If you are living on the American continent and missed Bunbury this time, don’t worry, he will be back next summer. In June-July 2024, he will be doing shows in Mexico and the United States - so stay tuned for that!

Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, Others Take Part in Holiday Elvis Tribute

Last month, the American network NBC hosted a major, star-studded tribute show to the King of Rock & Roll himself, Elvis Presley. "Christmas at Graceland" aired on November 29th, live from Elvis’s old home in Memphis, Tennessee (which is called Graceland, hence the show’s name); and it featured stars such as Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, and John Legend. Del Rey sang a beautiful rendition of the “Unchained Melody”, a single Elvis put out the year he passed away, in 1977.

Scorpions To Return to Turkey After 8 Years

The legendary German rock band Scorpions will return to the country of Turkey for the first time in 8 years. Last time they played there was in July 2016. However, Klaus Meine and the crew have recently announced they will be doing a live show in Istanbul, Turkey on May 23rd, 2024.

Djadja & Dinaz Put On Spectacular Show at Bercy

The Accor Arena, better known colloquially as Bercy, is a major, 20,000-seat concert venue by the River Seine in the heart of Paris, France. Playing this arena is quite an honor for French artists - and now, that honor was granted to the hip hop duo Djadja & Dinaz. They performed their first ever show there last weekend. The duo really outdid themselves to entertain the crowd, with massive pyrotechnics displays and smoke machines.

Beyoncé Puts “Grown Woman” Up For Streaming After 10 Years

Beyoncé’s “Grown Woman” came out back in 2013, exactly a decade ago, However, her fans in the “Beyhive” could not listen to it on their favorite streaming platforms - until now. In an Instagram post, “Queen B” herself announced that the 2013 R&B track, from her self-titled Billboard 200-topping album “Beyoncé”, will be available for streaming too, to commemorate the album’s 10-year anniversary.
