Born in London, UK, but raised in İzmir, Turkey, Edis is a singer very famous within the pop and dance genres. Edis won multiple awards, including a Turkey Music Award, with nominations continuing to highlight his growing influence in Turkish music.

While studying at high school, the soon-to-be-a-star pursued music lessons. Initially aiming to release an album in Istanbul, his career path shifted towards acting, appearing in series.

At the age of two, Edis and his family returned to Turkey, settling in İzmir. Edis began piano lessons at four and in 2007, he participated in a project promoting İzmir for Expo 2015 and sang with the İzmir Kent Orchestra. Despite his passion for music, his family insisted he complete his studies.

He later enrolled in a university in Istanbul before focusing on his music career. He turned to acting and appeared in TV series like "Dinle Sevgili" and "Hayatımın Rolü." It was during a karaoke night that his singing caught the attention of his future manager, leading to opportunities to record demos with heavy-weight artists like Kenan Doğulu and others.

After linking up with Ozan Çolakoğlu and Soner Sarıkabadayı, Edis signed with PDND Müzik to launch his album. They chose "Benim Ol" as his debut single, with Edis writing the lyrics himself. The song reached number two on Türkçe Top 20 and received widespread airplay.

Edis's debut album "Ân," released in 2018, featured the popular single "Roman." Together with his rising success, Edis also became a spokesperson for UNFPA in Turkey and secured a ₺1 million contract with Yedigün for commercials. Edis collaborated on Yıldız Tilbe's tribute album and released a duet with Emina Jahović. In that same year, he ranked third in male artist radio and TV streams.

Edis performed at the 2019 Basketbol Süper Ligi All-Star Game halftime show and released "Paha Biçilemez Bir Şey Başlat" for Mastercard Turkey. In 2019, he partnered with the brand Head & Shoulders for "Efsane Sensin."

After a long break, Edis announced his new album's first single "Martılar" in 2021, which became one of the most streamed Turkish pop songs on Spotify. A TikTok dance challenge was also launched for its official music video. He followed up with the second single "Arıyorum," which garnered 130 million YouTube views in 5 months. In 2022, he released the third single "Yalancı." In an interview about his album, Edis expressed his desire for each song to be revolutionary and easily understood by his fans, emphasizing his evolving sound.
