Born in Mol, Belgium, but very famous in Turkey, Hadise Açıkgöz, also known by her stage name, Hadise, is a pop singer and television personality. Hadise rose to fame with her debut album "Sweat" in 2005. Her self-titled album "Hadise" featured the hit "Deli Oğlan", a number-one in Turkey. Representing Turkey at Eurovision 2009 with "Düm Tek Tek," she achieved her first number-one single in Belgium.

At 18, the soon-to-be-a-star joined the first season of Idool, the Flemish Pop Idol show, catching the attention of manager Johan Hendrickx despite not making it to the finals. He offered her a record deal based on her performance and potential.

In 2004, Hadise released her debut single "Sweat," reaching No. 19 on the Ultratop 50 chart. Her single "Stir Me Up" followed, gaining popularity in Belgium and Turkey, where it became a summer hit in 2006. "Milk Chocolate Girl" from her debut album peaked at No. 13 on the Ultratop 50.

Released in 2008, the album "Hadise" also marked a significant milestone in her career by becoming her most successful album to date, entering the Belgium Album chart and being her first album available on iTunes, which at the time, was a big deal. Hadise co-wrote ten songs on the album with Yves Gaillard. During this time, she collaborated with Serdar Ortaç on the track "Düşman" for his album "Nefes". She also mentioned meeting Kevin Federline in the U.S. and working with producers and choreographers associated with top artists like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.

After a successful tour, the pop star began working on her second Turkish album, "Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer?." Despite delays due to her breakup with her producer, the album sold over 35000 copies in Turkey and received mixed reviews for its dance-pop style. Following these events, Hadise headlined the 38th Golden Butterfly Awards.

With a very successful career in the music industry, Hadise also made a name for herself in the TV industry. In 2006, Hadise hosted Popstar Türkiye, her first presenting role in Turkey. From 2008 to 2009, she became the presenter of the second season of the Belgian X Factor on VTM. Despite it being her first job there, Hadise received acclaim for her handling of challenges, including a judge's sudden departure during a live broadcast.
