The Weeknd Shares “Uncomfortable” Memory of First Meeting Taylor Swift

The Weeknd and Taylor Swift are two of the world’s most celebrated musical artists today. Little did we know that they have crossed paths early into The Weeknd’s career - and, according to the man himself, he wasn't all that happy with the encounter.

The Canadian R&B star told his story to Rolling Stone Magazine. According to him, he met Swift at Sam Smith’s mansion at an after party for the 2016 Grammy Awards, where “everyone was hammered”. What annoyed The Weeknd the most was that “T-Sizzle” kept petting his hair (which may be a covert accusation of racism as well), and that he felt she was talking condescendingly about his music, despite proclaiming to be a fan of it. Or, as The Weeknd put it, “she actually schooled me on my own sh*t”.

New Guns N’ Roses Album In the Works?

One legendary rock band, The Rolling Stones, recently released a brand new album. And, as it appears, another one may be following suit: Tom Mayhue, the Guns N' Roses’ long-time production manager revealed back in the summer that Axl Rose and the crew are back in the studio, working on new music, and they even have “a bunch of stuff recorded already”.

What we have so far is an official release date for a new single, “The General”, which is coming out on December 8th. The last full-length GNR album was “Chinese Democracy” from November 2008.

Maluma Expecting First Child with Susana Gómez

We have some good, wholesome news from the music world next. Colombian singer Maluma announced during one of his recent concerts that he and his girlfriend of 3 years Susana Gómez are expecting their first child. They already know the gender and the name of the baby: it’s going to be a girl named Paris. Congratulations to the young couple!

Victoria De Angelis of Måneskin Teams Up with Duran Duran for Talking Heads Cover

Musician Victoria De Angelis, best known for her role as the founder, backup singer, and bassist for the Italian rock band Måneskin, decided to have a little fun on her own this time. She was the featured bassist on a brand new remix track "PSYCHO KILLER" by the British pop-rock band Duran Duran, a new rendition of the 1977 single from the Talking Heads of the same title.

Revolver Magazine Polls Audience On Top 5 Evanescence Songs

The American rock band Evanescence has been on the music scene for over two decades now, having been formed in 1995 and having put out their hit debut album “Fallen” in 2003. So, when the metal/rock magazine Revolver decided to poll their audience to find the top 5 Evanescence songs the band has ever made, there was plenty to choose from. The eventual winner was “Bring Me to Life” (2003) from the aforementioned debut album, beating out “Going Under” (2003) in second, “My Immortal” (also 2003) in 3rd, “Your Star” (2006) in 4th, and “Lost in Paradise” (2011) in 5th place.
