Knotfest Mexico is the Mexican edition of the famous music festival, Knotfest. The festival was created by Slipknot in 2012, alongside the CEO of 5B Artist Management, Cory Brennan. The festival works just like a band, touring around the world, bringing heavy metal to all parts of the world. The event was brought to a lot of places, like the US, Canada, Japan, and more.

As part of its "dark carnival experience," the festival offered various activities. These included circus big-top tents, fire pillars, amusement park rides, burlesque shows, fire breathers, stilt walkers, drum circles with junkyard cars, and graffiti walls. Additionally, the festival featured a Slipknot museum during the two shows.

As for the Mexico edition, heavy-weight bands were brought, Slipknot, of course, Megadeth, Korn, Suicide Silence, and more.
