Bearded Theory is an annual EDM & pop music festival held in Hatton, United Kingdom, held since 2008. The festival takes place over multiple days, featuring a diverse range of artists across different stages. From rock and indie to folk, reggae, and electronic music, Bearded Theory offers a wide variety of musical genres to cater to different tastes. Previous lineups have included renowned bands and artists, both established and emerging, such as The Beths, The Go! Team, Kid Kapichi, The Bug Club, Scalping, and more, all of them providing attendees with memorable performances and a chance to discover new music.
The festival takes place in Catton Park, a glorious 250-acre private Estate, which has been owned by the same family for over 600 years. Located in the heart of the National Forest, Catton is located between Derby and Lichfield on the West Midlands, Staffordshire, and South Derbyshire border. Interestingly Catton Park is a 2-hour drive away for 50% of the UK's population.
For camping lovers, upon arrival head towards the wristband exchange and get yourself wristbanded, then take the route to the festival campsites where friendly stewards can point you in the right direction to your desired campsite. You can also bring your own alcohol into the festival’s campsite and arena in moderation (don’t take the proverbial, please do your bit by supporting the festival's bars). Glass containers and bottles are not permitted on site, as stated by the festival managers.
Catton Park has an abundance of hotels and bed & breakfast accommodation located nearby. If you are planning on staying off site please ensure you have read the entry and re-entry times. Be aware that in previous years the majority of local accommodation gets booked up very quickly.
Festival was scheduled from 22 May to 25 May 2014 (3 day(s)).
