Trivium Biography

Trivium is an influential American heavy metal band hailing from Orlando, Florida, and was formed in 1999. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy, guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto, and drummer Alex Bent. Trivium has carved a notable presence within the heavy metal genre, known for their high-energy performances, guitar work, and vocal delivery. Their music draws from elements of thrash metal, metalcore, and progressive metal.

Their early albums, such as "Ascendancy" and "The Crusade," propelled them into the spotlight, earning critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Through their unwavering commitment to musical innovation and powerful performances, Trivium solidified their position as a leading force within the metal community.

Some of Trivium's most famous songs include "In Waves," "Until the World Goes Cold," and "The Heart from Your Hate." Albums like "Shogun" and "Silence in the Snow" have left a lasting impact on the metal scene, showcasing the band's versatility and evolution over the years.

The band has worked with musicians such as Howard Jones of Light the Torch and performed alongside bands like Sylosis, further cementing their position as a force to be reckoned with in the metal music landscape.

Trivium embarked on a co-headlining tour with the Swedish melodic death metal band In Flames in both Europe and North America. In Europe, they were supported by Ghost, Rise to Remain, and Insense. In North America, Veil of Maya and Kyng joined them as support acts. Additionally, during the In Waves 2011 European tour, Trivium was joined by Miss May I and The Ghost Inside.

On January 2023, Trivium released their rendition of Heaven Shall Burn's "Implore the Darken Sky" on various streaming music platforms. This release is part of a split single celebrating both bands touring together in Europe and the UK. The split single, set for release on January 27, 2023, features Heaven Shall Burn covering "Pillars of Serpents" from Trivium's 2003 debut album, Ember to Inferno.

Me too! Saints Row 2! That's where I first heard Trivium too. That game actually got me into heavy music. Trivium, Black Dahlia Murder, and Chimaira were standout bands for me because of it. Hope one day i can be backstage seeing this guys as well
