Sebastián Yatra Concerts Setlist

Sebastián Obando Giraldo, better known by his stage name Sebastián Yatra, is a Colombian singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on October 15, 1994 in Medellín, Colombia. Yatra moved to Miami, Florida in the US with his mother at age 5, while his father stayed in Colombia to work in real estate. He learnt to play the piano and the guitar, as well as learnt to sing as a child. While he was also passionate about soccer, but decided to focus on music after he landed the leading role in his school’s production of "High School Musical" at age 12. After high school, he attended the Sagemont School in Weston, Florida as a business administration major. However, he dropped out at age 20 and traveled back to Colombia to pursue a career in music.

In 2013, he released his reggae-influenced pop single “El psicólogo” which became a minor hit, charting in countries like Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and even the US. He also got to go on two international Sebastián Yatra concert tours, opening for two major artists, Mexican singer Paty Cantú and American singer-songwriter Hope Sandoval. In 2017, Yatra put out his first major hit single, “Para olvidar”, charting high across South America.

His debut album came out in May 2018, with the title “Mantra” and through the label UMLE - Latino. However, it never became a huge commercial success. In the meantime, Yatra landed his first role as an actor, voicing a character in the Spanish dubbed version of the animated movie "Smallfoot". He’s been getting acting gigs ever since, including a lead role in the 2022 musical comedy series on Netflix, “Érase una vez... pero ya no”.

Yatra’s second album, “Fantasía” from April 2019, performed a lot better than his first one. It peaked at the #5 spot on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart, and sold 240,000 copies in the US and Mexico combined. The latest new Sebastián Yatra album came out in January 2022, with the title “Dharma”.

The biggest hits in the Sebastián Yatra setlist to date are “No Hay Nadie Más” (2018) featuring Argüello and Mik Mish, “Robarte un Beso” (also 2018) featuring Carlos Vives, and “Un Año” (2019) featuring Reik. He was also featured on the 2016 hit single by fellow Colombian music duo Cali Y El Dandee, “Por Fin Te Encontré”, along with Juan Magán.
