Sefo Concerts Setlist

Seyfullah Sağır, better known by his stage name Sefo, is a Turkish rapper and songwriter. He was born on March 16, 1988 in Samsun, Turkey. Sefo started writign rap songs during his high school years. He released his debut single “Yalan” in March 2018.

While his hip hop career was taking off, he was also studying at Esenyurt University in Istanbul. In fact, he wrote one of his first hit songs, “Bilmem mi?” released in July 2021, on the metro on his way to class. Since that song contained many reggaeton elements, a popular Latin music genre, it got remixed in Spanish by the Mexican pop rock band Reik in 2022. Sefo himself was featured on the remixed track, which was given the new title “Mírame”.

Sefo has released 24 singles in total during his 4-year career. Two of them charted high on the Turkish singles chart. “Isabelle” peaked at the #2 spot, while “Tutsak” didn’t stop until it reached the top of the list. Both songs came out in 2022. While he’s put out quite a catalog over the years, he is yet to release his debut album, and there is no word about a new Sefo album coming out either.

In June 2022, there was a big controversy in Turkey after the governor decided to call in officers to stop a Sefo concert in Bodrum, Turkey due to Coronavirus restrictions. According to the pandemic rules still in place, any music event had to stop before 1 AM, however, for reasons unclear, Sefo’s show was called off half an hour earlier than that…

The biggest hits in the Sefo setlist to date are the aforementioned “Bilmen Mi?” (2021), “Bonita” (also 2021) featuring Reymen, “ISABELLE” (2022) featuring Capo, and “Tutsak” (also 2022). He was also featured on the 2020 hit song by Turkish EDM DJ Aerro “Basa Sar”, along with singer Yase. Sefo is known to use catchy, poppy tunes for the beats of his rap songs, that’s why some consider his music to be pop rap.
