Levent Yüksel Biography
Born in Turkey, Levent Uğur Yüksel, also known by his stage name, Levent Yüksel, is one of the most prominent singers of the Turkish pop scene now. Levent Yüksel is also a multi-instrumentalist and has been part of the music community since 93. Levent Yüksel started his music journey in high school, where he used to sing at school events, and later, at friend's weddings and events. Levent Yüksel debuted with the album "Medcezir," and as of today, his biggest hits are singles like "Zalim," "Ya Sonra," and "Tuana."
After graduating, with a lot of passion for music and a dream, he moved from Antalya to Istanbul to pursue his dream of studying music at the Istanbul University State Conservatory. There, Levent Yüksel learned to play bass guitar and enhance his vocal skills.
In the early 90s, Levent Yüksel got recognized as one of Turkey's top bass players, and by 93, he launched his first pop album. Till today, many music critics say that "Medcezir," his debut album, influenced and shaped Turkey's pop scene.
