Kany García Concerts Setlist

Encarnita "Kany" García de Jesús, also known by her stage name, Kany García, is a singer born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, famous for taking part in the "Objetivo Fama," where Kany became known as the most successful non-winner-in-the-show's history. Kany has had a very successful career, winning six Latin Grammy Awards and being nominated for three Grammy Awards.

Kany grew up in a musical family, which led her to have strong classical influences from an early age. While studying music, she fell in love with the guitar. Kany's debut album "Cualquier Dia" came in 2007, which she wrote entirely. The album went gold in the US and Mexico, and 2 years later, her second album, "Boleto De Entrada," came out.

"Cualquier Dia" made Kany very popular and took almost one year to be completed. Some songs like "Amigo en el Baño" faced some radio bans but still charted well. Later, some of Kany's music received comparisons to world-class stars like Shakira and Julieta Venegas.

Kany's second album had some pop and rock influences and had the participation of artists like Tego Calderón. In 2019, Kany also album "Boleto De Entrada" debuted at #6 on Billboard Latin Albums. Kany contributed to a tribute album for Rocío Dúrcal and collaborated on a charity song "No hay imposibles" for Teleton 2009.

By 2012, Kany's third album came out "Kany García." The singer's new album did extremely well and debuted at #1 in Puerto Rico. The album had several singles that topped the charts and boosted Kany's national and international career.

In 2015, "Perfecto Para Mi" was released and it was Kany's fourth album. One year later, in 2016, "Limonada," her fifth album, came out and debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Latin Albums. In 2018, one more new album came out, "Soy Yo" is Kany's fifth album, making it her fifth top 10 album and the second by a woman to debut in the top five that year.
