ItaloBrothers Biography
Founded in Nordhorn, Germany, ItaloBrothers is a well-known dance project formed by Mathias Metten and studio collaborators Zacharias Adrian and Christian Müller. The project brings a unique style to the table, with heavy influences from Italo dance, hands up, and jumpstyle. The project was founded in 2005. The official debut release came in 2006 with "The Moon," but what led the group to gain major popularity and national recognition was their cover of Mike Oldfield's 1980 hit "Moonlight Shadow," in 2007.
By 2009, ItaloBrothers released "So Small," a Carrie Underwood cover, followed by "Love is on Fire" in 2010. Most of the songs in the album topped charts all over Europe and went gold in many countries. In 2011, "Cryin' in the Rain," came out, with heavy influence of house music. The group's next projects proved how eclectic they can be, mixing dubstep with classic music.
In 2015, marked their entry into French charts by releasing "One Heart" with Floorfilla and P. Moody. After Zacharias Adrian left, Hanno Lohse joined the band. They released "Springfield" with Martin Tungevaag, achieving success in Norway, followed by "Welcome To The Dancefloor," a cover of Snap!'s "Rhythm Is a Dancer."
By 2020, ItaloBrothers signed to another record label and released "Let Go" with Kiesza. By that time, one of the group's members revealed in a podcast that releases paused due to the label change. In 2022, they released "Mission 1."
