Inna Concerts Setlist

INNA (whose real name is Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu) wasn't always a pop star. She was born in 1986 in a tiny Romanian seaside town. She grew up with her dad, a sea rescuer, and her mum, a dancer. INNA used to love swimming when she was a kid, played basketball, and loved music just like you. She loved Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, and Whitney Houston.

She really went to college and pursued a degree in political science following high school - incredible. Music was her passion. That all changed, though, when her office manager happened to overhear her singing one day and had her set up to be introduced to a production crew known as Play & Win.

She first called herself "Alessandra" and did pop-rock, but went on to "INNA" (a nickname that her grandpa used to call her). That was when she dropped dance music, and magic started. In 2008, her first smash hit "Hot" went crazy all over Europe and even got to number one on America's dance floors!

After "Hot", she continued to drop dance floor anthems like "Amazing", "Sun Is Up", and "Club Rocker". In 2011, she was the top-paid artist in Romania and Eastern Europe. She went from singing in her bedroom to crossing continents and touring!

What is so great about INNA, is how she reinvents herself. In 2019, she surprised everyone with an album full of Spanish tracks with gypsy themes! In 2020, she created a full album in only three weeks and documented the entire process on YouTube.

There's more to INNA than music - she fights for children's rights and against domestic violence. INNA has now sold over 4 million albums, and she is Romania's best-selling artist ever! Even her "Cola Song" made it into the video game Just Dance 2017!
