Chris Young Concerts Setlist

Considered to be one of the most important singers of the modern country genre, Chris Young is a singer born in Murfreesboro, USA, and became very well known across the USA after winning the reality singing competition program Nashville Star. 

After the show, Chris secured a good deal and put out his self-titled debut album. The album gave rise to two singles on Hot Country Songs: "Drinkin' Me Lonely" and "You're Gonna Love Me." His second album, "The Man I Want to Be," came out two years after the program.

Chris's interest in music started at a very early age when he was drawn to music and took part in children's theater productions. During his time at school, he sang in the choir and started playing gigs at nearby clubs. In 2000, he even sang as a mariachi singer with his high school during a performance called "A Night at the Palladium."

In 2006, Chris was the house singer at Cowboys Dance Hall in Arlington, Texas. Some friends encouraged him to audition for Nashville Star in Houston. He took their advice, entered the competition, and ended up winning in 2006.

In 2013, Chris acted as an Ambassador for the CMA Songwriter's Series, which was shown in Belfast, Dublin, London, and Paris. The goal was to share country music with people abroad.

In 2023, Chris put out the singles "Looking for You" and "Young Love & Saturday Nights". Then, in March 2024, he released his ninth album, also titled "Young Love & Saturday Nights".

Apart from being a very talented country singer, Chris proved to have a big heart as well. Chris has helped Little Kids Rock by giving different items for auction, which raises money to provide instruments to children. Additionally, he's been a big supporter of Stars For Stripes and has raised $35,000 for the organization.
