Held in Oulu, Finland, Qstock is an annual two-day rock & pop music festival founded in 2003. The music event features a diverse lineup of artists, ranging from domestic to international acts across various genres. With 40k visitors, it's become the largest summer event in northern Finland, selling out multiple times. Qstock has roots in the former Kuusrock festival, which ran in Oulu from the 1970s to the early 1990s.
The event was founded by the local ice hockey organization Oulun Kärpät, the festival's promotional vehicle is a vintage 1965 VW Kleinbus. Additionally, Qstock operates its online TV channel, QTV, releasing episodes in the spring featuring interviews with upcoming festival performers, available on the festival's YouTube channel.
Over the editions of the festival, heavy-weight artists and groups performed on the stages of the event, such as Megadeth, Lukas Graham, Stratovarius, and others.
