Ed Sheeran Becomes First International Artist to Perform in Bhutan

British pop star Ed Sheeran has achieved numerous great things during his long and successful music career. However, even he probably could not have imagined that he would be breaking quite an unusual ground: on January 24th, he became the first international artist to do a live show in the country of Bhutan in Asia. His concert took place at the Changlimithang Stadium in the capital city of Thimphu.

He took to his Instagram to celebrate this odd milestone, saying in a video: "Had the honor to be the first ever international artist to play Bhutan last night. What a gig, what a country, what a beautiful place with incredible people! Let me know if I can move there, please and thank you."

The answer is: February 27th-28th, and March 1st-2nd.

Billie EIlish to Headline Grammys Award Show

This is award season in America right now, and the music industry is up next. The 67th Annual Grammy Awards is happening this weekend, February 2nd in Los Angeles, California. We will dedicate a stand-alone article for the winners and nominees, so for now, let’s focus on the live performers - there are plenty of big names among them too, evidently.

American pop star Billie Eilish will be the headlining act. Artists such as Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX and Shakira will be performing at the prestigious award show as well.

OneRepublic Releases “Super Deluxe” Version of New Album

It is quite a common trend in the industry to release multiple versions of a popular artist’s album to keep the record charting high for an extended period of time. The American pop rock band OneRepublic is doing the same right now. Their album “Artificial Paradise” came out last summer, in July 2024. Six months later, their fans can get their hands on the super deluxe version as well, which is out right now!

Teddy Swims Puts Out New Single “Guilty”

American soul singer Teddy Swims is one of the few really successful “late bloomers” of the music industry. He got his first international hit at age 29, just before he turned 30, with “Lose Control” in June 2023. He is back now with another single, “Guilty,” which is linked below if you feel like checking it out.
