Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, Chappell Roan Take Home Wins at Grammys

Kendrick Lamar's diss track "Not Like Us" won in the Best Song category, while Beyoncé’s "Cowboy Carter" won in the Best Album category, However, Kanye West also got plenty of attention, given his girlfriend Bianca Censori showed up nakes...

The 67th annual Grammy Awards were held last night, February 2nd 2025, in Los Angeles, California. Before we get to the winners, let's talk about rapper Kanye West and his wife, Australian model Bianca Censori, who got most of the media attention after the show.

That is quite understandable, given that Censori decided to show up to the red carpet naked… This is not out of character for her. She also appears on the cover art for Ye’s 2024 single “Carnival” with only a very thin piece of fabric covering her buttocks.

As for the music, Canadian hip hop/R&B star Drake must not have liked the result of the Record of the Year and the Song of the Year categories, as Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” won in both. As most of you probably know, it is a hard-hitting diss track on Drake. Looks like the Drake-Kendrick hip hop beef captured even the highest levels of the music industry last year.

Apparently, they were also impressed by R&B star Beyoncé’s foray into country music, as her record “Cowboy Carter” won in the Album of the Year category. The most memorable track on that album is “TEXAS HOLD’EM”. Given that she was born and raised in Houston, Texas, Southern culture is not an inauthentic gimmick for her at all. Meanwhile, in the Best New Artist category, pop singer Chappell Roan was honored with a Grammy. Her first big hit last year was “Good Luck, Babe!”.
