Iron Maiden Raises the Roof in Adelaide

The legendary English heavy metal band Iron Maiden is currently on tour in Australia. One of the most recent stops of their "Future Past tour" was in the city of Adelaide, where they performed in front of a packed house at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre - that means a little over 10,000 people. The local press certainly loved their shows, as they have received glowing reviews. The band performed some of their biggest classics all the way back to the 1980’s, such as “Stranger in a Strange Land,” “The Number of the Beast,” and “Fear of the Dark”.

David Gilmour Releases New Solo Album “Luck and Strange”

David Gilmour, who is from another iconic British band, Pink Floyd, has just published a brand new solo album titled “Luck and Strange”. This is the 5th LP the Pink Floyd guitarist-vocalist has put out on his own so far, with the first one coming out all the way back in 1978. Here’s one of the singles, “The Piper’s Call” linked for your listening pleasure.

Teddy Swims Talks How He “Manifested” a Record Deal in 6 Months

American R&B/soul singer Teddy Swims was interviewed by Lewis Homes on his podcast. Swims is a late bloomer in the music industry, having put out his debut album at age 30, and after having spent over a decade trying to make it in music. Of that not so pleasant experience, he said:

“I think I signed in 2019… December 24th, 2019 I signed a world record. (...) Almost 10 years from that moment [when he dropped out of college] that we finally made it, but I had been making music forever. (...) We’ve made it through, a bunch of roommates, a bunch of roommates moving back to their parents’ houses when it wasn’t working out, and getting stepped on, and getting hurt a lot, and, you know, losing a bunch of jobs.”

In that period, Swims was also waiting tables, but he admits he wasn’t very good at it. What changed his fortune, according to the man himself, is when he moved in with a bunch of fellow aspiring musicians, and promised them that they were going to make in the industry in six months. Swim attributes this to the “power of manifestation”: against all odds, it did work, they did sign a record deal within 6 months.

Ludovico Einaudi Announces Concert Date in Paris for 2025

We rarely have classical, concert hall musicians trending on our site, but our users did have a lot of interest in Italian pianist-composer Ludovico Einaudi lately. That is most likely because he has just announced he will be playing the famous Accor Arena in Paris, France on March 5th 2025.
