Adele Says She Won’t Perform One Of Her Biggest Hits Ever Again
British pop star Adele just had a roaring success of a live show in Munich, Germany in front of 75,000 people. However, she did give her fans something to feel down about on that wonderful night. She announced that she won’t be singing her early, classic hits such as “Hello,” “Easy on Me,” and “Chasing Pavements”. After she finished performing the latter of the three songs, she reportedly told the audience:
“The reason I don’t sing this song very often, and I shan’t sing it again after this Munich residency, is because the way I pronounced the words in this song when I was 19 years old, I sound like I’m 19 years old. hen I sing it now, I still sound 19 years old and it annoys me.”
Manu Chao to Release First Album in 17 Years, “Viva Tu”
French-Spanish reggae singer Manu Chao is making a great return next month. He is putting out his first full-length studio album since the September 2007 release of “La Radiolina”. “Viva Tu” is coming out exactly 17 years later, in September 2024.
Marilyn Manson Goes on the Road for the First Time in 5 Years
And speaking of great returns, metal legend Marilyn Manson has just made one as well. He is hitting the road again, kicking off his tour with FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania last week. This is the first time Manson has done a live show since 2019, the pre-pandemic era. His 12-piece setlist included all his biggest hits, including his 1995 cover of the Eurythmics song “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” and his 1996 hit “The Beautiful People”.
Clairo Releases Cover of “Brooklyn Baby” by Lana Del Rey
American indie pop singer Clairo decided to go back to her roots. She started her musical career as a teenager by uploading cover songs to the internet, and performing cover songs at local establishments. This time, she put her own spin on a song by Lana Del Rey, “Brooklyn Baby” from 2014.
Boris Brejcha to Play Wembley This Fall
German DJ Boris Brejcha will be taking his self-described “high-tech minimal” music style to one of the biggest venues in the world, the Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom. He will be performing there on November 22nd - tickets are already on sale now.
