Primavera Sound LA 2022

Primavera Sound LA is a very popular music festival held in Los Angeles, USA. The festival's original edition started in Barcelona, Spain. It became so popular that it expanded to Porto in 2012 at Parque da Cidade (Primavera Sound Porto), just a week after the main event. In 2022, the festival also took place in Los Angeles, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo for the first time. In 2023, Primavera Sound added Asunción and Bogotá to its lineup. They tried a similar event in Madrid a week later, but it only lasted for one year. Additionally, there's a smaller version of the festival called Primavera Weekender that's been happening in Benidorm every November since 2019.

Initially, the festival had a strong focus on indie rock, but in recent times, it has welcomed more diverse genres like hip hop, EDM, and pop. Unlike many other European festivals, the schedule here is unique. The first bands start performing at 4:00 p.m., the headliners take the stage at midnight, and the latest acts keep the music going until 6:00 a.m.
