Jason Aldean (born as Jason Aldine Williams) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and music producer. He was born on February 28, 1977 in Macon, Georgia. His parents divorced early in his life, so Aldean was mostly raised by his mother alone in Georgia. The little time he and his father had together was mostly spent by his father teaching him how to play the guitar. In his teens, he started singing cover songs of famed country music singers such as John Anderson and Tracy Lawrence at talent contests and small local venues. He also joined the house band of a Georgia nightclub.
After graduating from high school, he kept performing cover songs with his band, but also started writing original compositions. He performed one of the songs of his own at an early Jason Aldean concert in Atlanta, Georgia. That is where he got discovered by a music producer from the Warner-Chappell song-publishing company. With his help, he moved to the country music hub of the world, Nashville, Tennessee.
There, he struggled for a few years, getting signed then dropped by multiple labels, but his self-titled debut album, “Jason Aldean”, came out at last in July 2005 through the label Broken Bow Records. It became a hit, peaking at the #6 spot on the country music chart by Billboard, while also reaching the #37 spot on the famous Billboard 200 chart.
Since then, the Georgian country music star has released 9 more studio albums, thus he has 10 in total. The best selling one among them is “My Kinda Party” from November 2010, which sold 3.1 million copies in the US. Meanwhile, the latest new Jason Aldean album came out in April 2022, with the title “Georgia”.
The biggest hits in the Jason Aldean setlist to date are “Dirt Road Anthem” (2010), “Burnin’ It Down” (2014), “Tonight Looks Good on You” (also 2014), and “Got What I Got” (2019). Check when the next Jason Aldean concert is playing near you on our page above.
