Disturbed's mascot, known as "The Guy," started as a simple drawing of a smiling face, which appeared on the back of their album "The Sickness." They used a digital program to distort this original drawing three times, creating the distorted image of The Guy that became the band's official mascot. Eventually, artist David Finch drew The Guy as a full figure.
