Spacey Jane Concerts Setlist

Spacey Jane is an Australian indie rock band. They were formed in 2016 in Fremantle, Australia. The founding members were lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Caleb Harper, drummer Kieran Lama, lead guitarist Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu, and bassist and backing vocalist Amelia Murray.

Harper and Lama grew up together in Geraldton, Australia. They also played together in a band called “Sicchino”. Meanwhile, Hardman-Le Cornu and Murray met each other in a French class during their college years. Later, Lama and Le Cornu crossed paths through a mutual acquaintance, thus the “gang” was together by 2016. They decided to form a band and named it “Spacey Jane”, after a night out in Perth with a girl named Jane.

They started doing live Spacey Jane concert shows in small local venues across Western Australia. In 2017, they released their debut single, “Still Running”. It was followed by two more songs in the same year, the latter of which, “Thrills”, ended up receiving much playtime in Western Australian radio stations. This led to the release of their first EP (Extended Play), “No Way to Treat an Animal”, which charted high on the Australian ARIA chart, reaching the #23 spot. They also got to go on their first nationwide Spacey Jane concert tour in 2019, the “In the Slight Australian Tour”. However, also in 2019, their original bassist, Amelia Murray, decided to leave the band to focus on a new career in health and sex education. She was replaced by Peppa Lane.

The band’s debut album came out in June 2020, with the title “Sunlight”. It became a solid hit, reaching the #2 spot on the Aussie charts. However, the new Spacey Jane album, “Here Comes Everybody” from June 2022, managed to outperform even that, topping the ARIA chart in the continent-nation. The biggest hits in the Spacey Jane setlist to date are “Feeding the Family” (2017), “Booster Seat” (2020), “Good for You” (also 2020), and “Lots of Nothing” (2022).
