MUSIC

Helsinki is the capital city of Finland it's considered to be a city that has contributed to a diverse range of musical genres and styles. Among the artists from Helsinki are Nightwish, a globally popular symphonic metal band known for their epic live concerts. Another notable band is HIM, pioneers of the "love metal" genre, very similar to melodic metal. Helsinki is also home to other influential musicians and bands. Apocalyptica, a unique cello-based metal band, has captivated audiences worldwide with their innovative blend of classical and heavy metal music. The Rasmus, a pop rock band, has achieved success both in Finland and internationally.

Helsinki is also home to two symphony orchestras, the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, both performing at the Helsinki Music Centre Concert Hall.
